Baan Samarinda

A 5-bedroom traditional teak house

(Sleeps 8 guests)

One of only 4 exclusive beachfront homes on Railay Beach, our traditional Thai teak house is a true gem. With its green roof blending into the lush landscape, and interiors alive with Asian artefacts collected by our late mother, it offers solace for the soul.

Sheltered amongst ferns and trees, it features many exquisite details. A master bedroom opens out onto a covered deck with day beds – a dreamy spot for reading or a massage – while all its bedrooms feature cloud-soft linens, perfect for sinking into after a day at the beach.

As evening falls, there is no better way to relax than dining outside on our teak decks, enjoying a gentle sea breeze, while the curious and gentle langur monkeys feast in the tree canopies above you.

(Next door, you’ll find the 4-bedroomed Baan Kintamani. Combined, these beachhouses sleep up to 16 people and can be rented together.)
